Juno Adams

Juno Adams (they/them/theirs) is a second-year student at McGill University, pursuing a degree in English high school education. Raised in rural Manitoba, Juno’s experience growing up in an underprivileged school has inspired their commitment to providing students with the support and opportunities they deserve. These early challenges fuel their drive to foster more inclusive, equitable, and empowering learning environments for all students. Their passion for media studies and analysis plays a significant role in the classroom, helping students critically engage with texts and the world around them. In addition to their academic work, Juno is actively involved in the McGill community as the Resource Coordinator for Queer McGill, where they support LGBTQ+ students and work on outreach initiatives. Along with this, Juno has experience as a Community Outreach Facilitator within the Winnipeg and Manitoban arts community.
